I really forgot what they closed their set with. Not too bad with what I predicted earlier.

Snippets of Enter Sandman, by Metallica and Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden

Edguy in support was a pretty cool band. Definite highlight of this band was the drummer playing the Imperial March.

Into Eternity, the opening act was solid.

But when HammerFall came on stage, they totally brought the house down. They are so wicked live it's just not funny. For a while there, I couldn't recognize Magnus Rosen, their bassist, whom I mistakenly took for a third guitarist.

All three bands delivered, and I definitely want to see Edguy again who will be supporting Stratovarius come October. Hmmmmmm.

Oh yeah, I also got the guitar pick of Oscar Dronjak, the founder of HammerFall. I don't know how I've managed to come in possession of it, but fuck yeah!

Too bad I couldn't get pics with the band as the last SkyTrain was leaving soon and the whole venue just started late.

I gotta work at Western Grocers in about 2.5 hours. I'm slightly drunk and this is NOT going to be fun.
